What are the requirements for obtaining my medical visa?

  
Basic Requirements to obtain an Indian Medical Visa
  1. Valid Passport: Must have at least 6 months of validity and two blank pages.
  2. Hospital Invitation Letter: An official letter from a recognized/specialized hospital in India. some applications may require a Medical Visa Reference Number generated by the Indian hospital through the government system/AYUSH portal
  3. Medical Documents: Original referral letters from your local doctor and recent medical reports (MRI, CT scans, prescriptions) justifying treatment in India.  
  4. Proof of Funds: Bank statements from the last 3 to 6 months or a letter of sponsorship to prove you can cover treatment and living expenses in India.  
  5. Photographs: Two recent color photos (typically 2" x 2" or 5cm x 5cm) with a white background.  
  6. Visa Application Form: Completed and signed online through the Indian Visa Online portal.
