Dr Ajay S Bhambri D.Ortho, DNB Ortho, MCh is Orthopedic surgeon practicing in the field of Orthopedics since 17 years. He is a dedicated surgeon who believes in perfection and practises the same. He specialises in joint replacement surgeries and has vast experience in the same. He has additional experience in revision joint replacement surgeries of knee and hip joints. Dr Bhambri is a trained bone reconstruction surgeon and specialises in joint replacement of severely deformed joints or failed joint replacement surgeries. He is one of the few joint replacement surgeons of the region to have successfully replaced the entire femur (thigh bone) along with hip and knee joint of that side as well as successfully replacing the entire humerus (arm bone) along with elbow and shoulder joint same side. Graduate of Govt Medical College Solapur, Shivaji University Kolhapur, completed his post graduation in Orthopedics from same university. He underwent DNB training from Mumbai. He worked as Head and In-charge of joint replacement and limb reconstruction unit at Oswal Hospital Ludhiana.
Previously, he worked as Fellow, Joint Replacement, Shalby Hospital, Ahmedabad.
Has also worked at Shalby Hospital as Sr Consultant and In-charge of limb reconstruction and ortho oncosurgery.
He is one of the few surgeons in the country who is trained in joint replacement in limb salvage surgeries as well as cancers of bones.
He has performed more than 6000 joint replacement surgeries and 4000 surgeries for tumor of limbs and 2000 limb salvage surgeries.
