Dr Basant Mahadevappa

About
Dr. Basant Mahadevappa pursued his MBBS in India, after which he went on to pursue his Fellowship in transplantation and HepatoPancreatoBiliary surgery at the New York Medical College (NYMC), New York. His area of interest lies in liver transplantation (Living & Deceased Donor).
Dr Basant is well versed in laparoscopic liver resections and is trained to perform robotic surgeries, surgeries of the Liver, the Pancreas and the Biliary system, including minimal access surgeries, Liver resections for Hilar Cholangiocarcinomas, ALPPS procedure and Whipples requiring vascular reconstruction. He is a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, the American Society of Transplantation and the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association. He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
