liver transplant program in India, it has conducted world's first living related liver transplant in baby with factor VII deficiency (2010) & world's youngest domino liver transplant, first Swap Transplantation (2009), paediatric acute liver failure patient successfully airlifted & liver transplanted (2007), bloodless liver transplant (2005) liver transplant in a fulminant liver failure (2004), successful paediatric cadaveric reduced
liver transplant (2003), robotic surgery in donor for living related liver transplantation in India (2011). 1st blood group mismatch liver transplantation. She is credited for starting therapeutic endoscopic work in new borns & young infants, set up India's first department of paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology & liver transplantation. A prolific writer & academician, Dr. Mohan established India's first yearly fellowships in paediatric
gastroenterology, hepatology & liver transplantation, certified by the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (2008), two year fellowship (FNB) in Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology Certified by IAP (2012). In hectic schedule, she takes out time for social services. Also, she has received awards like Zee Swasth Bharat Samman Award & DMA Centenary Award.
