Dr. Peeyush Jain

About
Dr. Peeyush Jain is Principal Consultant Cardiologist; Head, Department of Preventive and Rehabilitative Cardiology; and, Head, Ambulatory Cardiology, at Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre in New Delhi. He completed his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and then obtained the DM (Cardiology) superspeciality degree through G B Pant Hospital in New Delhi in 1987. Dr. Jain's areas of special interest are Lipid Management, Cardiovascular Nutrition, Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus. He is the author of 16 books on medicine and health in English and Hindi. Some of his books have also been translated into regional Indian languages as well as Indonesian Bhasa. Dr. Jain is Editor-in-Chief of Heart of the Matter, a bimonthly journal of heart and diabetes care, now in its tenth year of publication. He participates regularly as Guest Faculty at National and International Conferences in India and abroad. He is also on the Editorial Board of Cardiology Today, and a peer reviewer for Indian Heart Journal.
