He completed his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and then obtained the DM (Cardiology) superspeciality degree through G B Pant Hospital in New Delhi in 1987. Dr. Jain's areas of special interest are Lipid Management, Cardiovascular Nutrition, Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus. He is the author of 16 books on medicine and health in English and Hindi.
