Dr. Shahin Nooreyezdan

About
He graduated his MBBS degreefrom Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior in 1984 and1988 completed his training with a Master of Surgery degree. He was awarded his M. Ch. degree in Plastic Surgery from PGIMER in 1992, after which he went to the U.K., where he worked at the Regional Burns and Hand Surgery Unit at St Andrew's Hospital, Billericay At the Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi since 1995 He has done extensive works in post cancer reconstructions, especially breast cancer, in this part of the country. He is also an extremely skilled burns and microvascular surgeon, skills which has helped save lives and successfully reattach amputated limbs. He is one of the founder members of the Breast Cancer Patient's Benefit Foundation, which since 2004, In March 2005 Dr Nooreyezdan initiated "Project Hope" along with the Bahai's of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He identified 33 Christian orphans from the Tsunami affected Nicobar Islands and relocated them at The Tadong Baha'i School, Sikkimfor their education. He and his family continue to support them to this day. Dr Nooreyezdan aids, assists, and provides financial support for an English and Moral Education project for over a hundred children from a low-income group colony, Harkesh Nagar. He is also an avid clock and watch collector with over 200 antique timepieces. He is also well known in Delhi for his clock repairing skills!!

Senior Registrar, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, India from 1988 to 1990.
Senior Resistrar at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education Research, Chandigarh, India in the department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 1990 to 1992.
Subsequently underwent further training at the North East Thames Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery unit at St. Andrews Hospital, Billericay, U.K. in Burns,
Hand & Cosmetic Surgery prior to joining Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in 1996.
