Dr. Srinivas JV

About
A senior consultant and joint replacement surgeon with more than 16 years of extensive experience, Dr Srinivas JV has performed approximately 2000 joint replacement surgeries and 4000 orthopaedic surgeries. He is known in academic circles as well, having presented severable papers at national and international conferences.

Professional qualifications
Dr Srinivas JV graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 1997, receiving a gold medal from Bangalore University for excellence in the field of surgery. He obtained his master's degree in orthopaedic surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (A.I.I.M.S.), New Delhi.
In 2002, he pioneered the orthopaedic department of the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (of which he is still a visiting faculty member) and performed over 600 surgeries during his time there. He has visited hospitals in Germany, France, and Australia for training in advanced replacement surgeries.
He joined the Wockhard network of hospitals (now a part of Fortis) in 2006. Since then, he has successfully performed more than 1000 major surgeries including joint replacement surgery, custom-fit joint replacement, complex joint trauma surgery, knee arthroscopy, and spine surgery.
Always academically active, Dr Srinivas JV has presented at national and international conferences. He is the author of a number of publications, and has contributed to the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (USA) as well as to Help Age India. He has been a guest lecturer in multiple Indian Medical Association meetings across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
