Dr. V P Choudhry is an award-winning hematologist at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad. He has more than four decades of clinical experience in successfully treating patients with bleeding disorders such as thalassemia, haemophilia, hemoglobinopathies, leukaemia, multiple myeloma, nutritional anaemia, etc. Dr. Choudhry has won several awards for remarkable contributions to the world of hematology such as Dr J.G. Parkeh Oration, Lifetime achievement award, Distinguished Doctor's Award, MaltiSathe Oration Award, Dr. B.N. Dara Award and many more. His bespoke medical services are commended both by patients and colleagues.
Dr. V P Choudhary is the former Prof. and Head-Dept. of Haematology, AIIMS. He specializes in the management of Refractory Anemia, Thrombocytopenia, ITP, Hemolytic Anemias, Thalassemias, Leukemias Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma etc. He has authored over 100 chapters & over  350 publications in medical Journals. He has been President of Indian Society of Hematology Transfusion Medicine, Delhi Society of Hematology and Chairperson Pediatric Hematology Oncology Chapter of IAP. He is former Director-Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health Kbul, Afganistan. Awarded several prestigious National & International Awards for his contribution in field of Hematology.
Prior to spearheading Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad, Dr. V P Choudhry was associated with various prestigious medical institutes in India. He served at AIIMS (Topmost hospital in India) as a Professor & Head of Department of Hematology, he served as the Director of Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Kabul, Afghanistan. Moreover, he was the medical advisor to Armed Forces Medical Services.
Dr. V P Choudhry's medical career is filled with some groundbreaking achievements. He's worthy of successfully treating some of the most complicated bleeding disorders in the Indian Medical History.
Dr. V P Choudhry has close to 500 publications in national and international journals. He has organized many medical conferences and workshops on state and national level and continuing to do so. He has been instrumental in research work done in hematology field. Dr. Choudhry is a well-respected member of Indian Society of Haematology & Transfusion Medicine, Delhi Society of Haematology, Former Chairperson of Pediatric Hemato-oncology IAP.
